I grew up near Cardiff, New York,
briefly famous for its giant
,
which turned out to be one of the greatest works
of 19th century American fiction.
I still live in upstate New York
with my wonderful husband,
son, and daughter.
After a hectic thirty-year career in local television,
(highlights include being bitten by a lion;
preempting a president for a college basketball game;
being 'outed' by the Drudge Report.
I'm now focused on my writing . . . and wine.
